How can men and women be so blind to the obvious facts that surround them?
There is only one science that is provable beyond doubt, and that is the science of mathematics. For the remainder, much of the basis for the propounded conclusions is based on theory, and presumed "successive" events are also constructed to follow on one from another. That sounds good, but if an argument at the bottom of the chain is actually incorrect, then the whole chain collapses!
It clearly follows from this fact that if God created man, then the scientific conclusions, based on the unproven assumption that it happened by chance, come crumbling down. Now consider what follows very carefully...
There are many facts that can be established that serve to re-inforce belief in the Word of God, the Bible. Here is one such fact...
The US Central Bureau, Population Division, demonstrates statistics relating to the population of the world at all times from 2000 BC to date. One worrying but totally ignored statistic is that the world's population has tripled in the last 60 years, to the present figure of 6.6 billion. But there is something revealed within these statistics which is much more important to us.
According to this research division of the US Government, the population of the world around 2000 BC stood at considerably less than 300 million people. The Bible's chronology indicates that the year of the flood of Noah's day was about 2344 BC. So science and the Bible are in complete agreement here - the population of the world at 2344 BC was minimal. And the Bible tells us that in the flood of Noah's day, only 8 people survived!
Alas, unbelievably against all the geological evidence that exists in abundance to the contrary, science tries to tell us that such a flood never happened! If that were the case, and human beings had existed for billions of years, the world's population would be far in excess of todays 6.6 billion, and the US Bureau's figures would be hopelessly wrong.

All these things demonstrate that the Bible is unique. It contains deep truths by which we are able to understand more and more about the creator of heaven and earth, and the way in which he deals with men and women. The Bible is a complete guide for life, and as we come to love the LORD, he will impart to us much greater wisdom than the highest university degree could possibly provide!

The word of God, the Bible, will change our lives if we read it with understanding, and with a heart that genuinely desires to understand and serve the creator and designer of this marvellous world in which we live. Do not leave it too late to think about these things - begin to read the Bible today! The Bible speaks with the supreme authority of our Creator. It is God's word, for us. And an important consequence follows on from that: as this is so, we dare not neglect it. We must take it seriously. NOW!
